In the summer for the great events such as the Opera Season at the Arena or the evenings of musical, theatrical and ballet entertainement at the Roman Theatre and in the courtyard of historical palazzi, of the villas and church cloisters; for practicing sports in the mountains, on Lake Garda and in the water parks in the area.

In the autumn conferences and business, as Verona is the land of international relationship; for excursions throughout the province to discover gastronomical specialities and fairs and exhibitions of the local typical products.

In the winter skiing on the mountains, again business and cultural tourism, because Verona offers high level museums and is itself a vast open-air museum, with its collection of art treasures dating from Roman times to our days. We find an elegant juxtaposition of architectural styles. Verona is all this in its simplicity. All the finest natural and art aspects of Verona are offered to visitors and the city only asks to be known. Loving it, follows on straight away, it’s an inevitable consequence. So that “welcome” becomes a definite “goodbye” each time.
Verona is also an important business-manufacturing center and its suburbs are home to many corporate headquarters and businesses (food growers and processors, shoe factories and wineries) and, every year, Veronafiere attracts almost 1 million visitors to the exhibit spaces of Fieragricola, Vinitaly, Fieracavalli, Marmomacc, the Italian Golf Show and Abitare il Tempo.
